Delete your account and data

You can delete your Quitty account at any time directly in the app: Settings → Delete account. Alternatively, an email to info@quitty.ch with the subject “Datenschutz” sent from your registered email address is sufficient.

What is deleted

Deleting your account deletes your account, your receipts, your warranty entries, your points balance and your conversation history with the assistant. Unredeemed points expire without compensation.

Time limits

Deletion takes place within 30 days. Backup copies are overwritten within 90 days. Data that we are required by law to retain for longer, in particular data relevant for accounting purposes, is deleted once the statutory retention periods have expired.

Export first

Before deleting, you can export your data in the app (Settings → Export my data). Once deleted, your data cannot be restored.

Delete individual data

You can delete individual receipts, warranty entries and conversations directly in the app without closing your account. For all other requests, such as correcting individual details, you can reach us at info@quitty.ch.
